What can we offer you with our astronomy experience at Sant Martí de Surroca?
The price is €95.00 + 21% VAT per person. From the third person onwards, the price is €25.00 + 21% VAT per additional participant, up to a maximum of 20 people.
The Romanesque church of Sant Martí de Surroca, in Ogassa, offers a unique setting where heritage, silence and one of the darkest skies in the Ripollès come together to create an exclusive astronomy experience.
The experience lasts approximately 90 minutes and combines an interactive audiovisual presentation inside the church with an outdoor astronomical observation. If sky conditions and the course of the experience allow, we may stay a little longer.
We will discover galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, stars and planets through a narrative that brings together science, heritage and landscape.
The experience is led by Kilian Víndel, a Starlight-certified astronomer, and includes sky interpretation, observation with a Seestar S50 smart telescope, live astrophotography and the subsequent delivery of the images captured during the session.
Access is by your own vehicle. You only need to bring warm clothing and suitable footwear.
If weather conditions do not allow for a quality observation, the experience will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Ideal for couples, families, small groups and companies looking for a different experience in an exceptional heritage setting.
Sant Martí de Surroca is a place where heritage and the universe meet, reminding us that looking at the sky is also a way of looking within.
