Workshop Description
Three-hour introductory workshop to Astrophotography and night photography, exclusive for you, in the idyllic setting of Alta Garrotxa and the Hermitage of San Andreu de Gitarriu, and taught by one of our professional Astronomers/Photographers: Kilian Víndel - Esteve Serra
If you do not have a camera, tripod, etc. we will provide it during the workshop and completely free of charge.
What's included:
Welcome aperitif.
Clarification of basic concepts in photography: speed, diaphragm, ISO, etc.
Applied technique: The three "E's: how to focus, expose and frame the dark.How and why to immobilize (freeze) the stars.Learn how to make star traces.
Case studies depending on the date chosen:How to photograph the blue hour, the milky way, the moon and its light, the zodiacal light, eclipses, etc.
How to illuminate with artificial light.Brief summary of advanced techniques:Equatorial mount, stacking of photographs, compositions.
Photograph with telescope.
Brief summary about development:Software and necessary software: lightroom, Photoshop, PixInsight...
Adjust: color temperature, saturation, focus mask, noise reduction, lens correction, etc.Field trip, for 90 minutes and around the Mas, to put into practice the knowledge acquired in the first part of the Workshop.
