Strategic consulting in astrotourism
I am Kilian Vindel, astronomy communicator, founder of Astronomia i Territori, and promoter of projects that connect science, landscape, culture and tourism experience.
Since 2014, I have developed rural astrotourism initiatives with scientific rigour, product vision and a deep understanding of the territory. In the early stages of the sector in Catalonia, I advised Milestrelles in defining some of the country’s first astrotourism packages, contributing to a pioneering proposal that brought together accommodation, the night sky and astronomical experience.
I offer specialised astrotourism consulting to help public administrations, destinations, accommodation providers and private projects create proposals with their own identity, territorial coherence and distinctive value.
The main areas of work include:
– Designing astrotourism packages, adapted to the territory, the night sky, the audience and the project’s goals.
– Optimising astronomy-based services in rural accommodation, hotels and unique venues, integrating storytelling, logistics, calendar planning and quality of experience.
– Creating formats for groups, companies, institutions and cultural activities, with different levels of immersion and participation.
– Strategic support and follow-up, to ensure continuity, coherence and the evolution of the project.
The consulting process can begin with an in-person or online working session, aimed at identifying needs, opportunities and possible lines of action. From this initial assessment, an adapted proposal and a tailored budget are defined for each initiative.
The goal is to turn the night sky into a tourism, cultural and territorial resource with meaning, rigour and the capacity to create real value.
